I've ordered a set of panniers, but they won't get here until my big trip.  Meanwhile, I need something for training!  Anybody out there have some panniers that you'd like to get out of your garage?

I got some Shimano sandals because I'd heard that people who have them love them.  But - I can't get them unclipped!  I also have some Shimano shoes with identical cleats and have no problems with them.  Anyone have any experience with this?

Gear Talk / Bilenky Turtle trailer

Has anyone tried a Bilenky Turtle trailer?  My new bike will have S&S couplers, and apparently they have solved the problem of what to do with the hard case when you get the bike to the start point of a trip - it turns into your trailer.  I just want to know if it works well, because the concept is great!

General Discussion / Need info about Glacier-Banff

I'm planning to ride from Glacier to Jasper this September.  When I finish, I'd like to take the shuttle back to Banff, and take Amtrak out of West Glacier.  I can't find any public ground transportation between Banff and Glacier, though.  Does anyone know if there is any, or should I just rent a car for that piece?  Thanks!

Anybody out there using Lone Peak panniers?  They appeal to me in many ways - but Arkel seems to be the name on everyone's lips (for a pannier with pockets).
