Gear Talk / Radios for your ride

I have found that these radios work great during rides by my experience, but Radio Shack discontinued the model that I have. (21-1904 Radio Shack 5-Mile* Extra Rugged Sports GMRS/FRS 2-Way Radios), I have the ear/mic piece for them.  What does everyone else use?

I recently have had some back surgery and need to find a softer style seat for my bike.  Any catalogs or suppliers?
