Give her a call. She's listed in the American Adventure Cycling maps under Stonewall Inn at Delta. She doesn't have a web page.

Hi Neil, I'm so excited that you're going to see Theresa but sad that it's not us! Bob passed away shortly after I posted that note so Theresa is on her own. The details are Theresa Mason, 333 Broad St, Delta, PA 17314 ph: 1-717-456-7548. Please give her all of our love and hugs and kisses. Linda and Arie from Australia

Routes / Atlantic Coast route

In 2010, my partner and  I (Australians) cycled the Northern Tier and every day was filled with wonder. Breathtaking vistas, beautiful country roads, kind and generous people. We wanted to come back and cycle the Atlantic Coast. We left Miami, Fl 22 June. And again, every day has been sensational. Cycling south to north, we have been on the look out for pirates, then followed the tragic Civil War trail to your glorious capital Washington DC. Now we are in the rolling green hills of Pennsylvania. Every day we say to ourselves, ACA - thank you thank you thank you for these wonderful maps. It is like cycling with your very best friend who knows the most beautiful local route to take you. We love this country so much.

We're cycling the Atlantic Coast route heading north. After a day of climbing, we decided to stay at the Stonewall Inn, Delta. It is a wonderful B and B owned by Theresa and Bob. Yesterday, there was flash flooding in the area and a torrential downpour, so we stayed an extra night. To entertain us, Theresa and Bob took us to Lancaster on a sight seeing tour. We spent a fabulous day with them and consider this a highlight of our trip. If you're passing, call in. The directions and contact details are on your maps.

You might want to join the warm showers list. It lists cyclists who are prepared to accommodate other cyclists and provide local knowledge tips about cycling routes yet. We have been members for over 10 years and have hosted dozens of international cyclists in our home. We have also stayed with some overseas. Wonderful folk and a great resource for travelling cyclists.

South Atlantic / Accommodation in Moncks Corner, SC

We're in Moncks Corner, on the Atlantic Coast route and there's not a lot of accommodation. Fortunately, we called in at the Visitors Centre and discovered that the owner of the Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Moncks Corner 505 Rembert C Dennis Blvd Moncks Corner, SC 29461 is one of the organisers of the Warriors Ride - a supported cycle for disabled veterans. What a really great initiative. If you're passing through here, you will receive a warm and sincere welcome, a terrific room and service and meet fabulous folk. 5 STARS

We're actually riding that part of the Atlantic Coast route map 6 right now. We stayed at Callahan last night (bad idea). If you can, push on to Boulogne/Folkstone because there are clean motels with pools there. Our "Non-smoking" room at the Royal Inn, Callahan, reeked of tobacco and there were gross and suspicious stains on the quilt that needed washing...

Right now, we are at Knox Hotel which we would enthusiastically recommend to fellow cyclists on this route. Blanche is wonderful and it is worth the slightly longer cycle to be here.

We debated about simply going up the US17. Locals told us to take the US17 because they said there wasn't much traffic on it and it was shorter. But we didn't. We took the Adventure Cycling route, even though slightly longer, because we have always been glad we did in the past and this is no exception. The route is peaceful, shady and we've had a beautiful day cycling. If you have the time, stick to the map.
