Actually, I did get an offer to stay at a Fire station going through Ill. from some town officials who found me on the road. I was surprised too about the fire station thing.

Bike Clubs / Bicycle clubs in Fredricksburg/Culpeper VA?

Are there any bicycle clubs in the Fredericksburg, VA area?
I often ride into the town of Culpeper to shop, run errands etc.? In fact I do not drive a car and a bicycle is my only form of transportation. I also tour long distance across country, usually alone.

I recently rode a bicycle ride from Fredericksburg, Virginia to Page, Arizona (Lake Powell). I left September 15th and got to Page October 18th, 2012. I met a few bike riders along the way and would like to say HI again. I had a blue bicycle with a license plate that said; KITTI.

I'm also looking for places to spend the night when riding across country. Is there a resource list somewhere?
