Thank you for taking the time to write this up. Any idea how much snow is in the Nevada section of the western express?

I upload all of my footage onto a cloud. I use Google Drive. Every week or so, I stop in a library and upload all of my footage. That way, you don't have to worry about losing your footage, which has happened to a couple of people that I know.

I was planning on doing that route NOW, but I injured my knee. I have been planning on riding that route for 2 years, and I would prefer not to ride the Northern Route again.
Is it absolutely not possible to ride through Nevada and Utah during those months because of the weather? What if I woke up early, and got all my riding done by noon?

I'm gonna be in SF on Friday and Saturday. Anybody know of any good campgrounds to stay? (Not ones with sketchy people)
I know there are some outside of the city, but I would prefer to be close to the city

I am going on a cross country tour soon, and I would like to know what the best app is to show my route. I would prefer if I could use it Offline, so it doesnt use up a bunch of my phone's battery. I just want something basic that shows my route....It doesnt need to be fancy.

I will be cycling the western express the first week of April. So I will be riding through the Sierras, then across Nevada, then Utah and Colorado. What kind of gloves do you guys recommend???

General Discussion / How far do snow plows push snow on the side of the road?

I am planning on riding the Western Express in late March, and I'm sure there will still be a good amount of snow in the Sierras. Is it possible to ride on the shoulder? Or do you have to ride on the road because the shoulder is filled with snow???
