Temporary ACA Route Road Closures / GDMBR Section 1 Map A Montana Red Meadow Road (FR 115) closed - Aug. 2018

The Red Meadow Road (FR 115) is closed due to fire suppression efforts. There are several fires (the Whale Butte and Coal Ridge fires) in the area. Southbound, you can continue on the North Fork Road (FR 486) past Polebridge to Columbia Falls. Northbound, check to see if the road is open before leaving Whitefish. Call the Glacier View Ranger District 406-387-3800. If it's not open you can go north from Columbia Falls on North Fork Road (FR 486) which takes you to Polebridge and the route.

Temporary ACA Route Road Closures / Great Parks North Section 1 (2015) Map 1, Road 93A closed July 30 - Oct 31, 2018

According to Parks Canada, Highway 93A (south of Wabasso Campground to Geraldine Road) in Jasper National Park will be closed to "motorists, bicyclists, and hikers" July 30 to October 31, 2018 to undergo significant road improvements. Wabasso Campground will remain open during construction and will be accessible from the north.  Alternate route to turn A on Map 1 is to stay on Provincial Highway 93.
