Food Talk / Texas Hill Country ACA tour

I am thinking of doing the Texas Hill Country tour this October and was wondering how the food purchasing and cooking are done. I know its shared cooking but is the purchasing somewhat planned out ahead of time or is it a random wing it kind of thing at the time? What cooking gear is available?

USBR 76 passes right in front of my mother in laws house. I will be there off and frequently though the summer and was thinking I would like to set up a pop up canopy along the road with a little "trail magic" available. What are some of the things you would suggest. Water/beverages; food/snacks; other items?

I just received a Grab Your Bike & GO catalog and in the index listing of tours there is a number that ranges from 10-80. Is this number a minimum for the trip to be a go, or is it a maximum number allowed, or an average number of riders participating?
