International / Re: Riding bikes in Vietnam tips ?
« on: April 28, 2018, 02:08:21 am »Hello everyone, I'm planning to travel Halong Bay, Vietnam and want to hire a bike there to get a trip all by myself. But i'm worry that the traffic in Vietnam maybe crazy as everyone has told me.I’ve ridden bikes in Bali, which is most likely similar. Packed narrow roads, with few road rules. I found you just have to go with the swim. Stay in the Middle of the “school” of bikes and you’ll be fine.
So can you give me some advice when riding bike on the road of this country ? Thanks in advance
A good thing is the traffic doesn’t travel as fast as in the West. I found the trickiest part was navigating around the cities. Make sure you have good maps loaded in your device. Good luck and have fun.
