General Discussion / Best way to ship bike to hawaii

Hey everyone,

I'm currently living in Maine and wondering if anyone has experience shipping bikes to Hawaii. I was originally looking at ship bikes.com then decided not to, long story short seems like fedex is pretty expensive, as well as the airline cost to bring it on.

Welcoming any ideas/thoughts on best way to ship from those who have shipped to Hawaii! (specifically i'll be going to Hilo)
