Need all cycling parts for touring   I have a 98 lakeside 54cm hybrid diamondback  need  bottom bracket crank will you get it all parts for bottom half of bike.. have already thumb shifters seat handle bars.. thumb shifters called   shimo  or how ever you spell it Smile..  parts need to be 500miles or less. and ill pay shipping to Berea KY 40403     Thanks Ron..  no bull been ripped !!already so im not happy. On ACA site theres maps for the Great rivers rout.. okay the ?? is. is the missi river trail or route the same as the great river route??  i would like to do the missi river trail route.,  If ther not the same. can someone help with the route for missi, riverr trail from north to south??   Thanks Ron

I am sorry Ron, the panniers went with the bike.  And I apologize to all that I did not keep the posts current per the status of the bike and panniers, but for some reason, I was not getting email notifications (or they were going into the spam folder which I never check) that people were responding to my post.

Maybe you could look into getting a custom orthotic insert for your right foot. You should measure your inseam on your longer leg for the bike sizing guideline. One question though: is the difference in your leg length due to the femur (thigh bone) or the tibia/fibula (lower leg bone)? Orthotic inserts would work best if it was the lower leg that was shorter, meaning the distance between your hips and knees are even, because you would have less probability of knee issues.

  I think both Mom told me the had to put metal in the knee and hip, then take out later. gonna find a doctor to try and have a look cause i,m starting to swell around knee and when i walk alot leg jerks .or try to give me xtra step. on bike i have the knee problem and sitting problem in the hip area. get off and stretch it works..

Hi, All, Have simple ??   1 is my bike was destroyed in the apts i live.. dumb newbie mistake.. it was big a 54cm hybrid.  Ive finally found a site to measure myself for a bike So I did..  ?? is im 5ft 10in. but when doing the inseam like they say.. Im a 30 of 31 in the inseam. Im 2in short on rigth leg . do to a bone dease  when i was a kid So what size bike .. hybrid  with 700c for touring???   Thanks Ron    Sorry Spelling,s Bad.. spell as sounds    .. I have an older, but decent condition Trek 720. Awesome touring bike, but I switched long ago to riding recumbents. Looking for advice on what to charge, how much upgrade to do to sell (tires, cables, brakes, etc.)

I,m  5ft 11in inseam 33  long arm reach.  weight 170lbs looking, for a bike that can handle me and about 65lbs extra. if it has racks that would be great.   something with low gears gonna do the trans round trip in may or june . 2010.. + I,m new to this cycling riding have a friends bike to use to learn what i need to know. and it a mtbike. so i think i can use something between mt. and road at a cheap price plus . shipping...
