Gear Talk / Touring Saddles?

I myself use a Brooks Flyer. It's the sprung model and I think it's the most comfortable saddle I've ever used.

Gear Talk / Bike Selection

REI's housebrand Novara makes a model called the Randonee. It comes with a rear rack already installed and is ready to accept fenders and a front rack as well. It also has two spare spokes mounted to the rear of the frame. I have one and I love it! I believe they are currently going for about 950.

Gear Talk / Anyone name their bike?

I once had a Specialized Sirrus I named 'El Diablo' (the devil) because no matter how tired i was that bike just made me ride more! I always used to tell people 'you don't ride that bike, it rides you!'
