We are planning our trip for the new Sierra Cascades route and noted on map 1 that there is a "Cascade Rail Trail" from Sedro Woolley to Concrete in Oregon that looks to be about 30 miles. We were wondering if that would be a better option to ride on than the S. Skagit Hwy route that is indicated on the maps? Just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about the Cascade Rail Trail.

You make also want to look up Suncoast cycling club. They are a huge bike club but in the Palm Harbor area. There are lots of club rides to choose from with all different levels. They have several tandems in the club.

Routes / Great Rivers vs Atlantic Coast ACA route

Has anyone done the great rivers route from Adventure Cycling? We are considering that option, the Atlantic Coast route, or (if the maps come out in time) the Sierra Cascades route. The Sierra Cascades would be our first choice, but if we are not able to do that route, wanted people's opions of the other two routes. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks
