My daughter recently moved from the US to Germany and had the same problem.  The Pharmacist in Germany couldn't legally fill her US prescription and she had to get a local MD to issue one.  The German Dr. did so with no problems but the prescription had to be local to be acceptable.
YeaH a lot of drugs which are legal in US forbiden in Europe, or you need special prescription

Urban Cycling / Re: what bike do you use for pure urban ridin'?
« on: February 03, 2010, 09:07:33 pm »
I'm about to get a Mongoose XR-comp bike for my "urban" cruising.  I'm hoping to get it next month when I get paid.  The suspension is mostly not needed for urban terrain but I love the padding...

Man i used to have mongoose, and i wasn't really happy with it, i'll advice you to add SOME extra money and get Trek, KHS, maybe GT... all is My IMHO...

p.s. currently i have KHS urban-x and really like it.

Guys, for last 3 years i live in NYC, and for Manhattan bike - this is the fastest way of transportation, beside it the chipest and the healthiest. Car in manhattan it's a lot of pain in  ;D, cause of parking difficluties nad traffic, subway - too crowded on rush hours... A lot of NY'ers prefer bike, all kind of people do Bike.

General Discussion / Re: Florida Ride
« on: January 30, 2010, 12:05:29 am »
In Florida the bicycle is legally defined as a vehicle. Bicyclists have the same rights to the roadways, and must obey the same traffic laws as the operators of other vehicles. These laws include stopping for stop signs and red lights, riding with the flow of traffic, using lights at night, and yielding the right-of-way when entering a roadway.

pretty strict! ???

General Discussion / Re: Bicycle rental in the UK
« on: January 30, 2010, 12:04:23 am »
We are planning to ride end-to-end in the UK next summer. Has anyone rented quality touing bikes and panniers over there? We want to do some additional, non-cycle travel and don't want to have to store bikes while we do. Not to mention the cost of flying a bike from Denver to the UK.
what city are u going to?
