We have recently posted a couple trips and will soon have plenty more to follow. For those of you in the SW Florida/ Tampa Bay area I am introducing the Trail Travelers. We are a club dedicated to long distance cycling... from over nighters to multi-day trips, anyone from retirees to families, as long as you love riding you are welcome to join our planned tours and come to our clinics. Tourista...
There has not been a true "touring" club in the area as far as I know until now. I have established the Trail Travelers to fill that void. I have been touring for the last few years and have worked at bike shops for several and I thought the lack of community in the touring scene needed to be addressed because there ARE some great trails and rides in the area, and there are several people interested in doing multi-day rides... if you are interested in becoming a member go to the facebook page and watch for updates until i get a proper website online. the facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Trail-Travelers-Bicycle-Touring-Club/283411136492?ref=ts
