Pacific Northwest / Blaine, WA to Astoria, Oregon

Hey all, I am planning on riding from the Canadian Border to Astoria. Wanting to do the coast route through Forks. Does anyone have any advice on this route? I would like to do it in late May due to the fact that the weather might get a little better.
I noticed that there is a lack of campgrounds south of Forks. Is there more campsites then I can find?
I am doing this trip so that every year I can do a little section at a time and eventually complete the whole Pacific Coast from Canada to Mexico. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
