Routes / Eugene to Baker City

Trying to fiqure out our next segment in trying to get across the US. Our next trip will be Eugene to Baker City anyone out there have any suggestions for what time of year to travel this path? Also, anything we should know about the path.

Looking for someone traveling the Trans America Trail west to the east coast.  We need to know what the Trail is like beween Praire City and Baker City.  There are 3 passes at the end of the ride were unable to find a place to stay on the map.  Wondering what the camping is like between those two passes do you know.
