My family is considering a trip in the Netherlands using an outfitter called "Tulip Cycling". Anyone had any experience with them? Thanks.

No comment or experience on the organization you mention.  But I did cycle in The Netherlands back in 1992.  Went to the Floriade in late August.  Tulips were almost all gone by then of course.  But there were lots of other flowers and such.  Glad I went.  Floriade happens every 10 years.  South of Amsterdam, east of The Hague.  I rode from the 30? mile long dike in the north down to Belgium following the coast mainly.  Windy, real windy, along the north shore.  Lots of trees down in the south.  Scenic riding along the various canals that snake through the country.  Lots of agriculture land.  And lots of boats to look at in the canals.  You're supposed to follow the bike paths, which is nice and awful.  Nice in that its pleasant to have your own road without cars.  Awful in that the paths might take you a very round about way to where you want to end up.  Especially bad if you don't live there and know where the paths go.  Terrain is very flat along the coast.  Gets dull quickly if you cycled in the mountains previously.
