What's the deal with Lake cycling shoes?
« on: March 06, 2012, 04:08:44 pm »
Has anyone had any luck finding Lake shoes online recently? My understanding is that the company is changing ownership or distributors or something. The website isn't helpful, and I have been unable to find the shoes I'm looking for (Lake MX100's, 101's, or 102's) anywhere. Other companies make similar shoes but unfortunately only Lake makes them in my unusual size (50).

New ownership and new distributors. I know I read an article last fall about a new North American distributor, but I can't find that article right now. It's a Canadian based dist. with a warehouse in upstate New York. They were supposed to start moving the existing inventory right away. You would have to find a bike shop that knows about this new dist and that could order for you.
