Border Crossing from Windsor To Detroit

As I understand it, you cannot cycle across the border and I read the Windsor Transit tunnel bus will not take bikes either. I only have a day or 2 to spare for this so I am looking for the quickest, least painful way to cross. Thanks for any help!

The quickest, least painful way is definitely to ride downtown and take a taxi across. www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Detroit looks like it would cost $30 - $50 via either the bridge or the tunnel. A call to one of the local cab companies would get you some good advice on where best to get picked up and a more definite price.

Getting into town before morning rush hour would minimize the stress <grin>.

Thank you Fred for the info.  Sounds like that would be my best alternative considering my situation.
