Portable Shower
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:01:34 pm »
I am considering getting a "pocket shower."  Anyone have experience with it or others?  Recommendations?
Thanks,

That is a pretty cool idea.Im on the Natchez trace currently and went to walmart to get one but they didn't have one as  they usually do carry them.Rei has one Sea to summit it weighs about 6 oz and holds 10 liters.Sea to summit lies about there weights though.

when I was backpacking we used a ziplock bag. If you're trying to get the water to warm up we placed the bag on a rock in the sun. Waste of time till we started using a black trash bag for the shower. Still, by the time we filled the bags and waited for them to warm a few degrees we could have gotten cleaned up many different ways.
I play go. I use Macintosh. Of course I ride a recumbent

I just finished the GAP/C&O towpath and I carried a walmart camp shower with me. It worked out great. End of the day I just filled it up, hung it up in the sun for a while then a nice warm shower where there otherwise was none. I will always take it with me on an extended tour. They weigh almost nothing.
