Transport and lodging before & after ACA tours

Is it typical that if you book a bicycle tour with Adventure cycling, that book a hotel or motel for the beginning of the tour and one of the end of the tour?  Do you know if tours make accommodations to get you to a to airports or trains to get home or do you have to plan that out yourself?  This is the first time I am going to try this and I feel like it would be cool to tour, but at the same time, I would be stuck with how to get home at the end.
