I am looking for anyone's experience/advice/warnings/links for touring trough Mexico, Latin America and down the west coast of South America.

I just went to the main page here and searched for "Mexico" and found many threads. I'm on plenty of other forums, and I should have known better, but I don't know if there's anything on the west coast of SA. I'm assuming that the east coast of Mexico, LA and SA are better known, less wild and/or more appealing.

I have seen the eastern info too... that was why I was curious abot a western answer!
