Hi all, I did my first transam last summer and took the Big Agnus UL2 tent and loved it. At 2 lbs 10 oz it is amazingly light and packs very small. It works very well as a 1 person tent with room for all your gear. IMO, it works, but would be a tight fit for two with gear. I have become a weight fanatic and am looking to get my touring weight down below 30 lbs for my ride this comming summer.
So I am selling the the UL2 and buying a UL2 Platinum which is the same tent but with lighter materials making it 7 oz lighter, silly, I know, but I really like the design and size of these tents. They setup very quickly and easily. The tent is less than a year old and in excellent condition, it was gently used and has no tears, wear spots or anything like that.
