hwy 101 Orick to Cresent City

Hello,
I will be taking my first tour in late May.  I will be connecting with hwy 101 just noth of Orick CA. (Bald hills rd) and going north. My question:  prerie state park should I take the parie scenic route or stay on 101 thanks

Of course you should stay on the Prairie SP scenic Dr. It has far less climbing and far less traffic than 101. And easy enough to do.
