Lost Camera on the MRT on 15
« on: March 08, 2013, 10:41:15 am »
Aloha,

I lost my Canon camera along the MRT in Lousiana.  It is a black Canon Powershot and it is somewhere between the Old River Control Station and Hydroelectric power plant and North of Black Hawk by the cell phone tower on the 15.  It is either on the side of the road smashed or in the grass on the levee waiting for the mowers to smash it.  I believ it bounced out along the levee into the grass.  If found and the memory card is intact, please email. I am only interested in the photos on the memory card.  I tried to look for it for close to an half hour but had to get down the road to Deer Park before it got dark.

Mahalo,
John S

Best wishes on recovering anything! This is why I use a number of smaller memory cards while on trips, instead of one huge one. I also try to frequently upload photos, while on tour, to something like Picassa.com or photobucket.com in case of camera loss.

I know recovering it is a wild shot in the dark but you never know.  This trip was put together real quick and so forget to include extra memory cards among other things.
