Great Parks South Section 1 Maps 4 and 5 - park closure - Sept. 2013

Trail Ridge Rd./US 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park is open to essential travel only. The entire park is closed to recreation due to heavy rain and the severe flooding along the Rocky Mountain Front during the week of Sept. 9, 2013. The town of Estes Park has lost many of its roads and bridges. To avoid the area you will need to use the Berthoud Pass Alternate shown on the map.
