I was wondering if the maps/route for this tour would be available for someone who would like to do it on their own?

What is it and where is it?  A Google search failed to turn up any reference to it.

in my experience, the operators of bicycle tours are reluctant to send maps even of previous tours to non-participants.  If you want the maps, you pay to do the ride.

Years ago some friends and I did a credit-card tour in the Finger Lakes region of New York state and the organizers of the Bon Ton Roulet, an annual organized ride in the region, wouldn't let us have maps of the previous year's ride as guidance.  I believe this is typical.

It's the "rebirth" a self-contained group tour ACA used to run. Missoula to Anchorage:

Supposed to be great. A guy on my NT group tour did it way back and loved it. Crossed paths with the '00 edition in Glacier N.P.

I did this ride several years back, plus several thousand miles more in the Canadian Yukon and Alaska.  Ended up at 5,000 miles.  A great ride, but prepare for remoteness.  I used the MILEPOST book to prepare for the trip, which contains a wealth of knowledge.  I still have my route guide, town listings, and available grocery places if it would help you.

A couple of things about Northern Canada and Alaska to consider in planning:  It's never dark in the summer.  In late July in Fairbanks, I could read a newspaper at 2am.   Many roads are gravel/dirt, though the Cassiar Hwy last summer was mostly paved now.  The mosquitoes can be torturous at times.

If you seek adventure, this is a great ride. Just go prepared and enjoy the beauty!
