Florida loop

I am planning on this ride in March, starting in St Augustine. I will not be going to the keys but using the connector route from Ft Lauderdale to Ft Meyers. I was wondering with head-winds etc if it's better to travel clockwise or counterclockwise.
St Augustine-Ft Lauderdale-Ft Meyers-St Augustine
or
St Augustine-Ft Meyers-Ft Lauderdale-St Augustine.

Here is a link that shows the U.S. Click on Wind Direction/March: http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/climmaps/
And here is a website that might give you further info: http://www.sercc.com/

Most experienced cycle tourists will tell you half the time you'll have headwinds and the other half tailwinds, so it probably doesn't matter which direction you go.
