Pacific Coast Tour Oct - Nov

Going to cycle the Pacific Coast route this fall, leaving from Seattle at the end of Sept. And heading to San Diego.  Anyone else planning a trip in this region?  Or anyone with past experience have advice?  Going to try and camp as often as possible.  Expecting mild temps but a fair amount of rain...   Still hashing out specific gear to take for the climate out there.  Would appreciate any suggestions and give me a shout if your doing a similar trip.
