Section 1, map 7 - Between Twisp and Carlton, SR 153 is closed due to a mudslide. We had a rider go through there last week and they are not expecting to open anytime soon.

Southbound SB: To get to Carlton-Twisp Road: coming out of Winthrop, take the Twisp-Winthrop Eastside Road (as indicated in the map already). Once you hit the T-intersection at SR 20 (still unmarked), take a RIGHT. The Carlton Twisp Road will be a HARD LEFT just a little ways down the road. The traffic is moderate as this is now the main road from Twisp to Carlton.
