Anyone done the Wisconsin Adventure Trail?

Has anyone done the Wisconsin Adventure Trail? It was originally mapped out for dual sport motorcycle riders, but I was wondering how it would be on a bicycle.

I have not ridden it but it's been done.  A guy over at MTBR.com posted about his experiences here.

Some folks also organized a race along the route a couple of years ago, as I recall they didn't check the entire route and a couple of places were impassable by cyclists.

I rode about 2/3 of the original route in 2010 (the first year of the race).  All of it was rideable on a mountain bike. Most of it was rideable on a cyclocross bike. The sections that weren't (singletrack, and some atv trails by Black River Falls) would be easy to find alternate routes around

I should add, I have all of the maps, gpx files, etc for the original race still. I'm going to give the route another go over a week or so in 2016
