Hi there! My dog and I are planning a tour up the Lewis and Clark trail this spring. I was wondering what you're asking for one of the bikes? I've done a little bit of research on the Soujourn and they seem like they might fit the bill.  Thanks!

A.J. I am sorry. I thought I removed this post when we left the country. Obviously it got away from me that it was still on the web. We were able to find a place to store the bikes in the states and plan to use them when we return. Currently we are in Indonesia usually enjoying the constant warm to hot temperatures. The cycling here is pretty good as well.
I will modify the post.
Some people say the bike is less desirable than others because of the 700 x 35 tire size versus 27.5 which is pretty universal around the world. For the money spent I still say the Raliegh is the best bike for the money. Unless we trade them in for Bike Friday single folders (we already have a tandem friday)we plan to put many miles on them when we return.
If you are planning on doing any travelling you might consider the Bike Friday. It can cost more but the ability to get on planes trains and other transportation is outstanding.

Good luck on your adventure.
