Recumbent bicycles

Anyone have any suggestions for recumbent bicycles that are great for group rides and light touring?  My husband has a herniated disc in his lower neck and it is too painful to lean over on a regular bicycle.

Overall, the 'high racer' recumbent is the most satisfying. All recumbents solve the 'not leaning over' issue, but the high racers are fast and relatively easy to ride and the most visible of recumbents. Look for Bacchettas with both wheels 650 or 700c, or similar form factors.

delta trikes are usually easier to get on/off due to higher seat. i like the anura delta recumbent trike. they do a 4 wheel version too.
