How far north inCanada would one have to travel to avoid any influence of the traffic/oil field production in the Bakken Oil Field area?

The Bakken oil field stretches north into Saskatchewan almost to Regina. If you google "Bakken oil field map" you can see where it's located. It looks like Hwy. 1 across the province would avoid most of the traffic.

Canada Highway #1. Isn't that the main east-west highway through Canada? How does that route avoid traffic?
Just curious.

I meant it would avoid most of the oil/gas truck traffic but not other traffic.

Fair enough. There may not be a good route around that area. Ironic isn't it? Once upon a time, there wasn't any traffic in the Dakotas. Go figure.
