TransAmerica Trail #6 map 67 - road construction June-July 2015

On SR 9 north of Silverthorne, road construction is occurring through July between mile markers 126 to 137. Expect delays Mondays-Thursdays. Info: 970-724-4724.

If going northbound, a detour is to take Ute Pass Rd./CR 15, then unpaved CR 3 to Hot Sulphur Springs. This is a few miles shorter, but requires 1,200 feet of extra cumulative climbing. Quite a few miles of it are also unpaved (albeit a good quality).
