Wondering if i could get some feedback about the ACA Transam OR-VA ride.
I am wondering if i am advanced enough for this epic ride. I ride my bike 4/5 times a week, and average 120 miles a week. Elevation is not my forte since i live in NYC. I am 45 and in relative good shape.
if any of you have done the ride could you give me some advice/suggestion and tips?

Yes, you can do it.

Shouldn't be a problem for you.  You've got 8 months to get in some longer rides (50-75 miles), and try to get out of the city for some climbing.  Do it, you'll have a blast!

No question you can do it if you have the desire. I just completed the tour, west to east and met a 61 year old women who walked into a Walmart and bought a Schwinn for a TA ride. I met her in KS and was making great progress. Go for it.

Hi Dreux. Did you do it self contained with ACA?

Yes. Solo self contained. I did not cook but carried food.
