I want to get a front rack for my Trek 520 Disc. Any Input?

Hello all! First post here and I promise if I can find my answer in the search function I will delete this thread:)

I want to get a front rack for my disc 520. It has disc breaks so i'm not sure how that will effect my choices as far as clearance goes. I am pretty new to this bike thing. I am looking for the type of rack that goes on top of the front tire so i can put a small bag on it, not the type that holds the side bags.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Sorry if this isn't the right forum to post in, but it seemed the closest.

The frame size is 57cm btw.

Welcome to the forums. You definitely posted in the correct board. I think you will have options of the front rack, but with some you might have to use spacers to clear the disc brake. Surly makes a front rack that fits, but the following thread on the Surly owners list also suggests Old Man Mountain and Tubus racks.

Just noticed the title, I'm not sure if you are talking about a Surly Disc Trucker or a Trek 520 Disc?
