What electronic equipment do you bring on tour?

As of 2016 I just wanted to know what kind of electronic equipment people carry on tour :-)

Same for me.  Also noted that all smart phones have wifi I believe.  There are tablets that may or may not have cellular but all will have wifi

Dumb phone and a bike computer. I will probably add an e-reader as I like to read at night and I am tired of blowing through headlamp batteries.

x Smart phone with internet capability.

I have my iPhone visible on the handlebar stem. All in one it gives me GPS, camera, email, and encyclopedia.

E readers are the best thing ever. Make sure you get one with a backlight. Tons of reading material, and almost no weight, minimal space. The battery life is impressive too.

I'd rather to take nothing preferring to ask real people along the way for the information that a smart phone offers. But, life intervened and family insists on texting, they can't be bothered to rely on a telephone call from me along the  way.
I like real books.

I'll take my Nexus 6P.  Gadget wise, that's all I'll need. 

I recently installed The Plug III.  It works good for charging a few things, but my Nexus 6P is not one of them.  Anyone here use a dynamo and USB power supply like The Plug III?  If so, any great suggestions on a cache battery?  I've seen the Cinq5 Smart Power Pack, but I don't feel like paying $120 after already spending a lot on The Plug III.

iPhone and a basic bike computer.  The phone takes pretty good pics.  I may try an e-reader again. They are so small and convenient.  I used to have one but found I could not remember what I had read on it, unlike real books where I had no problem remembering. Seems weird, but others have had this problem too.

Yeah, just a smartphone for me.  I leave it turned off most of the time and carry either a spare battery or a power wallet, so I can go a long way between charges.  I don't find that I read as much when on tour, but when I do it is usually audio books.  That way I don't need light to read, can read while riding if i want, and don't need to carry a separate device or paper books for reading.  I read on a Kindle at home, but it typically stays home when I tour.

An iPhone 6 Plus, with an iWorkz bluetooth keyboard to update my blog.

I don't bother with an e-reader.  I much prefer audiobooks from Audible (on my phone), for exactly the reasons mentioned in the previous post.

An Etrex 30 for navigation and a Sony RX100 for pictures.

I clicked 'nothing' on the survey, but actually that's not true - more of a philosophical position. In reality on nearly all of my longer cycling trips I'm accompanied by my partner, and she's a teck-head junky - smart phone, Ipad and soon GPS. However, on some long trips in Northern Thailand and Laos I had nothing but a map and a handle-bar compass and managed just fine. Guess what? If you get lost you ask people! Wow! What a revelation! Then while on the West coast - Seattle to SF - I only had an off-the-peg basic mobile phone at the insistence of my daughter that I used maybe two or three times mainly out of laziness. The trouble with electronic aids and devises in general is that they distract you from your surroundings - I've seen cyclists riding in traffic while looking at Ipads attached to their handle bars - and isolate you from contact with other human beings.
