Minneapolis to the UP of Michigan

Hello,

Wondering if anyone has some advice on a route from Minneapolis, MN to the Ironwood, MI. Prefer to stay on pavement and plan to do the ride this June.

You're in luck. The ACA has a fully-mapped route for most of this ride: The North Lakes Route will get you from Minneapolis to within 40 miles of Ironwood.

Great area to ride! My wife and I rode our tandem from The Twin Cities up that way and across the UP and then down the length of Michigan all the way back to Cleveland. About 1500 miles and only 45 minutes of rain!
