I pretend to do Sna Francisco to Los Angeles , they say BigSur is open some passages and detour of course but going down to BigSUr , you think for better coastal view maybe do  SF to monterey or Cambria them pick armtrack to San Luis Bispo and going down to San Diego? only worried because the altitude is very high. better landscape L.A to San Diego maybe? (than detour)

this may help with the bridge bypass and perhaps finding a room.
The pedestrian bypass is open to all and a shuttle service has begun.
