Recommendations 4 Getting back 2 Port St Lucie from Key West

I'm taking a few friends on their first bike tour down to Key West. There's no time to bike back. Trying to figure out how to get us n our bikes back.

Hey Steph,
I'm wondering if you ever figured out your issue.  I'll probably have the same conundrum this winter on my first self-supported tour ending at Key West this winter.

One way car rentals are available from the Key West Airport with several of the larger agency.  I used one Last year after kayaking from Key Largo to Key West. 
Where would you need to get back to?

Jcostanz, you kayaked!?  How kewl!  I think we will be ok pedaling back.  We are returning to Vero Beach.  My partner is worried that she is not as fit as I am, but she's happily researching E Bikes.  I think I'm in trouble. ;-)

I have biked it 3 times from Key Largo to Key West and back.  First time was with Bubba's Pampered cycling and twice solo.  The last time I did it I used Budget rental for a one way rental from Key Largo to Jupiter,  I used a small suv as I have a trike.  I also have biked from Singer Island to Kennedy Space Center.  I would strongly recommend biking on Singer Island, Jupiter Island and along the beach south of Jupiter avoiding US1 as much as possible in the area.
