Anyone know if you can ride across the Canyon Lake Dam on the continuation of North Park Road?

From Google Maps street view it appears there is a pedestrian walkway.  Were you able to determine if bikes are allowed?

I just rode past there (CW) yesterday.  If I had known there was a route across the top of the dam, I'd prefer that -- follow N. Park Rd north to rejoin 306.
