Wally's Message
Dear Bike Club Members,

My name is Wally and I am the Ride Director for RideMN1 Inc. We are a non profit corporation dedicated to increasing awareness of healthy activities while raising funds to end cancer.
 

I am excited to share with you information regarding our bike event for 2017. The event covers 346 miles of beautiful Minnesota Highway 1, beginning in Oslo, MN and ending in Illgen City, MN. I would greatly appreciate your help by informing your club members of our event. As with any successful event we would also greatly appreciate any volunteer or donation support!


I have included a few points about the ride in the body of the email. Also, attached is a document about our cause and the event. Information regarding registration or volunteer/donation opportunities can be found at our website www.RideMN1.org.
 

Ride Details

Dates: September 9th, 2017 – September 16th, 2017

This is a 7 day event with one day layover in Ely, Minnesota.

Option to ride the entire 346 miles, or sign up for single day legs.
Start from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 9/9 in Oslo. First day's ride is 44 miles to Thief River Falls. *Excellent opportunity for single day riders.

Accommodations:

Riders have the option of motel or tent site accommodations. Motel rooms are single occupancy so riders will have their own room. Tent sites have shower facilities each night.
Riders have option of being provided 20 meals during the 7 day event.
 

Rider Support:

We will transport personal baggage and tents from one location to the next.
SAG support will be provided.
Traveling porta potty will be available throughout the ride.
Ride will always be within 40 miles of a hospital.
 

Additional Information:

This is a one way route and riders are responsible for providing transportation to/from the starting and ending points in Oslo and Illegen City.

Rider Packets will be mailed out by August 1st.
