GPS devices for Digital Files
« on: May 15, 2017, 07:30:46 pm »
We just purchased a Garmin Oregon 600 to use for the GDMBR.  Now we find there are digital files and are delighted but this device is not listed as a known compatible device.  Anyone have any experience with the Oregon 600 and the digital files from Adventure Cycling?

Yes, it should work. I have not used it, but most likely you can follow the same instructions as those for the eTrex.

The files must be GPX files and you'll also need to purchase Garmin NA City Maps. Once tracks are loaded you'll
need to turn them on, Show on Map. It can be confusing until you figure it out. You can always call Garmin, They're very
helpful.
