15mm wrench vs 9/16 wrench???

Question is it possible to used 15mm wrench on 9/16 pedals???

I have used a 15mm wrench on a 9/16in pedal since 2005 and I also use the 6mm Hex pedal wrench on my Sun Ringle zuzu platform pedals
and I have to go to Home Depot to buy a 9/16 wrench on 6/3/2017 and I am buying the
DMR V12 Magesium DH/BMX Platform pedals on 6/3/2017 and the DMR V12 takes a 9/16" wrench and 6mm Hex

Yes, it's possible but not a good idea except in an emergency. Using the wrong wrench will, over time, damage the fitting, possibly eventually making it impossible to get it on and off.

With the 15mm wrench on my Sun Ringle zuzu platform pedal 9/16 and the
15mm wrench is lose on the 9/16 spindle on the Sun Ringle zuzu pedals and I am upgrading to DMR V12 Mag platform pedals that is noted on a review it takes 9/16 wrench and 6mm Hex pedal wrench and I know that I need go to
Home Depot to buy a Husky 9/16 wrench and Last year I got two 15mm pedal wrench's from jensonUSA at $8.99 each.... and I know that the Sun Ringle zuzu takes 9/16 wrench and I mostly used the Pedro's 6mm Hex pedal wrench

A 15mm wrench is 0.59055 inches.
A 9/16"wrench is 0.5625 inches.
Difference of 0.02805 inches.
1/32" is 0.03125 inches.
So the difference between 15mm and 9/16" wrenches is about 1/32".  Little less.
I'm guessing if you used a 15mm wrench on a 9/16" pedal you would round the corners.  But pedals normally only have two flats on the pedals, so nothing really to round over.  Maybe the corners but not really.  Should not be much of a problem to use the 15mm wrench on a 9/16" pedal spindle.

I believe the OP is confusing the wrench flats (typically 15mm) used to install/remove the pedals with the pedal threading (typically 9/16" x 20tpi) that attaches the pedals to the threaded holes in crank ends.

Good catch on the spindle size and pedal threading.  I knew the 15mm but did not know the threading size.  Assumed metric since about everything else on a bike is metric.  Except chain size is 1/2" spacing.  And fork steerer tubes are 1" before and now 1 1/8".  Mix of American and metric on bikes I guess.  I forgot to ask about why someone plans 44 days in advance to go to Home Depot to buy a wrench.  July 3, 2017.  I doubt anyone in the history of the world has planned 44 days in advance to go to Home Depot.

Hi Tim-  Just use the 6mm on the back.  How was your California tour in December?

Unless your pedals are one of the newer Shimanos that use an 8 mm.

Nope not confusing the wrench flats!

my Sun Ringle zuzu DH/BMX Platform pedal is 9/16" x 20tpi but it takes a 9/16" wrench or 6mm Hex Pedro's pedal wrench and I have used a 15mm since 2005 and it is very lose on my Sun Ringle zuzu DH/BMX platform pedals and I am looking to be buying the
DMR V12 Magenesium DH/BMX platform pedals is 9/16" x 20tpi but it take a 9/16" wrench or 6mm Hex and Not pedals come with 15mm and in this review on the
DMR V12 Magenium ( https://www.pinkbike.com/news/dmr-v12-mag-review-2014.html ) "The new V12 Mg (magnesium) runs on fully sealed bearings and a cro-mo axle. All pins on the pedal are replaceable and tunable to your preferred grip. DMR say that they're 10% larger, 35% lower, and 20% lighter than previous incarnations. The pedal is now 16mm deep which is not the slimmest on the market but thinner isn't always better when it comes to pedals, it's all about shape. The V12 continues to offer a 9/16" wrench to keep the dirt-jumpers and BMXers happy, as well as a 6mm allen key on the back of the axle."

9/16" is very close to 14 mm so maybe that's what the pedals require.  It would be unusual for those Asian-made pedals to require an SAE sized flats wrench even though the threading is "Imperial".
