Lewis & Clark Bicycle Trail

I have big Question Is the Lewis & Clark Bicycle Trail Mostly Dirt Roads or Paved Roads??

From Portland, Oregon to Missoula, Montana and back to Portland, Oregon to pick the Amtrak Train back to Oceanside, CA and (maybe the summer of 2018/2019?) I will try to read post about the Lewis & Clark Bicycle Trail

It is paved but there are options to side trips or alternative segments that are gravel.  Beautiful part of the country.  Enjoy!
