The bike path south of Carpinteria is closed October 9-11, 2017 for repairs. An alternate route through Ojai is SR 150 between Carpinteria and Ojai, and the Ojai Valley Trail between Ojai and Ventura. This is 30+ miles and includes a hill. You may wish to seek a ride across this distance.
