South of Big Sur, CA on the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route..

New Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge in Big Sur has an opening date

The new Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge in Big Sur will open to the public on Friday, Oct. 13, Caltrans said on Tuesday.
The bridge will be open to locals and the public by 5 p.m. on that day, assuming there are no issues with weather, materials or equipment.
