I'm looking for a friend I met bicycling the trail  35 years ago.  We met on my Day 3 in Virginia and biked to Kansas with another guy named Mark where we got separated.  We were both about the same age at the time (35) and David was a college instructor in Scranton.  I started June 27 at Natural Bridge and finished in Missoula August 10.  I was out of time and left a note because another cyclist said David was about a week from Missoula at the time. I left a note at the hostle but never heard anything further. We meet a lot of people traveling and some folks you just wonder how it turned out for them.  And I wondered if he'd like to try the trail again in 2018?
