FS: Custom Clockwork steel touring bike
« on: March 03, 2018, 04:15:17 pm »
I have a custom, fillet-brazed Clockwork touring bike up for sale. I ordered it from Joel at Clockwork in 2013. It's built up with reliable components and ready for more adventures. Click here to view photos and geometry: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmdK7fop

The bike has plenty of beausage :). The paint has rub marks from bikepacking bags and some chips here and there. There are a couple of tiny dents: one in the top tube just ahead of the coupler and one in the downtube near the middle on the driveside from me packing the handlebars against the frame and the box getting squished during a flight. I've ridden the bike with these dents for probably 5,000 miles. No big deal. Joel selected stout tubes.

Asking $1200 OBO including shipping to the lower 48. Will ship other places but shipping will be extra. Will accept PayPal or another escrow service if you prefer something else.

Frame highlights:
- S&S couplers and cable splitters for reducing packed size
- Can fit up to 26x2.4" tires (comes with well-worn 26x2.1 Schwalbe Big Bens and some Maxxis HolyRoller 26x2.4s)
- Seatpost 27.2mm
- Rear hub spacing 135mm
- Headset 1-1/8" external cups
